Ha! And double Ha! LOL. I've cut the offending high neckline off the front and back and sew'd a very simple turned down edge. The front has a 3.5 inch slit down the front. Here's a pic of the cut made to change the neckline of the front.
I've done the embroidery on the front and I think its turned out pretty nice. I'm going to wait to finish the rest of the top until after I've done my presentation at B-Sew Inn tomorrow. I'll be taking this piece as a "work in progress".
